Operating out of Tauranga and servicing the wider Bay of Plenty and Tauranga regions, we specialise in marine claims, investigations and surveying for shipping, cargo and insurance interests. Our services range from damage assessments on small pleasure craft to P&I involvement with large commercial ships, and includes discharge and load surveys, lashing and stowage advice, and general consultancy. Since 1998, we have also serviced specialist claims handling schemes for marine insurers.
Marine Survey Tauranga Ltd started life as Marine Loss Adjusters Ltd in Auckland in 1994, but shifted to Tauranga in 2002. Tauranga is now New Zealand's largest port by volume and handles all types of bulk, liquid and containerized cargo. Tauranga is increasingly being used as a hub port for Australasia and is forecast to continue its rapid growth, with new dredging projects designed to future proof it against ever increasing ship sizes. We are proud to be able to offer our services to assist those who both use the port, or base their recreational marine activities in the Tauranga / Bay of Plenty / Coromandel area.
